As Nigeria marks her 56th Independence Anniversary, it seems like a good time to throw caution into the wind and celebrate but the realities on ground wouldn't let this be. From soaring prices of basic amenities to the dwindling state of the economies, insecurity and militancy - these are a few of the things that would keep of a well-thinking Nigerian sober at a day of celebration as this.

So what can we do?

We can Pray for Nigeria. Pray for our leaders and followers. Pray for God to show us the way to bring about lasting solutions.
